I promise no more sub 5 entries after this. It's sad, I guess. I'm having a lot of fun taking pictures and my scores are tanking. Oh well.
My son has been begging for a tennis racket, so we gave in and got him one. Now he has a racket to add to his sports collection of leather baseball glove, aluminum bat, batting gloves, golf clubs and bag, golf glove, footballs, football uniform, soccer balls, and gosh only knows what else. Oh, he's 3 1/2! hte scary thing is that he is pretty good at it.
Taken at dusk. Used a flash to try adn eliminate the background. Slight curves adjustment to [hopefully] get rid of the mountain ridge that was barely visible, and lighten my son up.
I like how the tennis ball is just "there."

| I really love this shot and I'm sorry to hear that you will stop having fun in order to get higher scores. It's one of the hazards of a competetive site, though - in the end we have to do what pleases ourselves. If the competetive urge trumps serendipity and spontaneity, that's what we need to do. I don't know if this makes any sense, I'm working on my second martini.;) |

| Nice action, perhaps a slower shutter speed to give a bit of movement on the ball/racket. The dark background distracting. |
