This is a rim of a very very old Goblet that my Grandfather gave me. I used a green frisbee that my daughter had to put over the light.

I am really surprised by how low this picture was rated by the general DPC public. It deserved 6+ in my opinion! Better luck next time...

Like the colur and the shallow DOF works here.

Nice image. I like how you used green in this image to show the value of glass. Good job.

Lovely composition, I like this abstract angle a lot. However, seems the attention is on the linen rather than the glass because it is what is most in focus, not the rim of the glass.

nice sharp image, good color, 5

The green is a good effect. Not so sure about the napkin - think showing more of the glass would have been better.

Great color, Im a big fan of abstracts, all this shot needs is to have the focal point moved to the edge of the glass. Thats the first point I look at in the shot. I love your use of shallow DOF, I just think the main focus point needs to be closer to the middle of the pic on the glass. Shifting the focal point and keeping the same DOF, this shot would be super slick. :)

Not a particularly bad image, but the almost complete lack of contrast in color kind of detracts from the overall quality for me. It's like someone put green cellophane in front of the actual photograph. If the fabric were a different color, even white or cream, it would be much more dramatic.

The use of the textured cloth really goes well with the shiny glass. Nice composition, too. DOF seems a little shallow and focused on the cloth rather than the glass.

An excellent photo my congratulations to you! You have taken something simple and turned it into something very pleasurable to look at.

i think the cloth kind of distracts from it, i would have just had the glass itself, nice shot ! 7/10

Good job! Love the colors in this one and texture of the glass in contrast with the fabric. Top 10 for sure.
