| This is really cool. It seems to me that the size of the footwear has something to do with the age. And they're watching the stove to keep warm. Very cute. Love it. |

| I love the vintage look to this. I love your "only slightly" out-of-the-box" idea -- just enough to be creative and still meet the challenge. I really like the composition and quality of the photo a lot. Good luck. |

| I think I would have liked either the kettle on the stove OR the set of shoes done seperately, so the eye could appreciate them for their own merit. Together, it's a tad too busy for my taste. But the sepia and the clarity of the details is good all the way around. |

| The composition is distracting. The most obvious thing in the image is the kettle, which has nothing to do with your intended composition. A tighter crop on the shoes might have helped. |
