I initially thought this photo was just another blurry shot. After sitting and pondering it a while, I realized it was the work of an experienced photographer that knew what they were doing.

How? The bluriness is all very controlled. It's not just random motion blur, but more like slow deliberate blur. It got a 7 from me. Good job! Keep posting what you like - 'cause I like it too!

Thanks for the comments. I knew this would not do well here, but I liked it. I only wish people would take it for granted that the photog knew what they were doing. I know people have the best intentions when they comment that it is blurry, but it was intentional. Thanks for listening.

Blurry and distorted enough that I can't figure out quite what you were trying to do with it.

I like the effect you are going for but I feel that it came out too yellow and out of focus. Judging by the blow out lights, it looks like the shutter might have been set too long and maybe some camera shake may have resulted.

i can not tell what it is

in my portfolio gallery you will find this exact same photo, but using a tripod. assuming that you wanted the overall blur in the photo its actually pretty neat. the thing that bothers me is the green/yellow hue of the overall photo (maybe a white balance issue?).

Its giving somoeone a 9 when you want your own photo to win, but I am very fair. Great picture... gave it a 9... love the time of exposure.

Nice idea, but too blurry.

This is an interesting image but i think it can be better, maybe if you had the backround in focus and only the train blurry. it all kind of blends together and it makes it hard on the eyes.

Cool effect.

Okay, first of all your color and composition are both excellent but your picture is out of focus and hard to decipher.

this was a nice idea but there was to much motion to make this a intresting picture but you are on the right track

Can I suggest a tripod?

I really enjoy the yellow and green tones,
I only wished you had some sharp areas in this one so the
feeling of motion would come out better.

too blurry, if can shoot in more sharper, it will be really nice
