Thanks for the comments. This was taken while Ms. Miao was posing for a professional photographer for her wedding album. The Chinese make the album in the studio and various locations with lots of costume changes well in advance of the actual wedding, which isn't usually photographed. So the pose wasn't mine, and I couldn't really pick my perspective, either, as I had to shoot around the guy with the Hassy and three assistants. I thought the sepia was kind of a no-brainer - period costume, period location, etc. First submission (I think) with no 1s. Somebody asleep? {g} |

She looks a bit cross-eyed, I would've chosen a different angle so it wouldn't look like this. The inclusion of the wood engraving and japanese style light is very nice. |

Why'd you chose sepia for this shot? I'd have to assume because the other objects in the image were distracting, but I'd really like to see the bold colors of her dress (if they were bold! :) |

Good shot, I am sure that the color of that dress is fantastic, not sure why you did away with the color. |

Watch the background ... the branches of the tree look like they are coming out of her neck and head ... her hands and arms look a little too posed ... go for a more natural look. |

Nice, but very posed looking. And I'm not so sure about the sepia, either. |

brilliant. Would have been nice to see the colour in this photo, but the duotone give it a feeling of authenticity. Great choice of pose and background. |

Good photo, great focus, etc. maybe it's your software, but the contrast seems a bit low. Arm skin appears almost washed out, more like shades of grey, rather than black and white. Photo 7 Creativity 7 People 8 total 7 |

Absolutely beautiful. Her skin glows like porcelain, but her hands and face are full of life and expression. The dress and surroundings are beautifully exotic. |

shame about the light growing out of her head! Need to pay a bit more attention to what's in the whole frame when taking people pictures |

Good shot. Really like her pose. The light behind her head is distracting. I'm not sure if sepia works for this shot. |

Pretty subject, like the warm tone. What's she wearing on her head? |
