i like how you've chosen to mask out the horizon line...little problem above the 2nd rider from the left. I would find this scene much more interesting if there was only nature. not sure how you managed to do the sky gradient legally. i would have liked to see a hue/sat adjustment on the flowers to bring them closer to the hot pink of the sky

Good idea, but not a very smooth transition to the sky background.

High points for trying something different. Love the sky and the flowers. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the horses more visable since your title focuses on the "ride."

Your photo appears to have an artifact of post processing along the horizon which is pretty distracting. I have had the same problem when I divide the photo into parts and try post processing each part differently. Sometimes I can copy a part ot a layer, post process it there, fade it a bit and leave the background image on the bottom layer to correct this. Layer stacking order is also important.

i think the post-processing of the sky is way overdone, and the selection of the sky was too sharp and rough so parts of human bodies got color-chaged, too. Besides the tones of the modified sky don't agree with the colors of poppies.

i think this may be a bit too saturated ... almost looks like a painting than a photo ... i would also like to have seen the people a little more clearer and in focus

Are you familiar with The Man Who Fell To Earth? That movie immediately came to mind when I saw this. I like how you can see the horses while not being able to see the horses. Very surreal.

Too much obvious editing imo. the light colored line between the ground and sky could have been blended better with a closer attention to the detail.

I know the challenge is fantasy, and the image is effective, but is it real?
