Thank you for the votes. This was my best submission ever. Perhaps because my wife helped... Now I am going to aim for the top 10. |

I love this one. The blown out candle really does a great job of showing darkness and the smoke is great also. |

the boarder is a little distracting. a little on the grainy side, but overall a good picture |

Great shot...I love the idea...there's plenty of light to show all the detail, yet it makes me think of darkness... |

Bumping this one up - this is a great graphic for the most simplre representation of darkness - the removal of light. although i would have liked to see amore aesthetic candle. |

What's with the border cutting thru the candle image? I'm finding it distracting me from the great curve of the smoke. Otherwise a nice capture. 5 |

I've seen quite a few candle photos in this challenge, but I think I like the composition of yours the best. Nice job. |

I think this is beautiful. The only tiiiiny things I don't like about it, is the seemingly small bit off blown out white near the wick of the candle and the border.. not sure why but the image continuing on past the border just makes me wonder why the border is there at all and my eyes are consistently drawn down there. Heh. But those are minor things, I gave an 8. |

The area of the candle just under the wick is blown out (too bright) but overall it's a cool shot.5 |

This must be the best candle photo of them all. |
