Greetings from the Critique Club!
Great use of DOF... very nicely done... the flower is very much in focus, and the composition is perfect because of the leaf. The part that bothers me about this photo is the distracting background... especially the red flowers behind it, draw your eye away from the main subject. The are competing with the soft pink of the flower and making the photo look more harsh with the red. You might have tried different angles to further isolate your subject. Very good with the lighting... very pretty and three d looking. Excellent job of picking out the one flower and getting rid of all the rest behind it. Nice photo... no real oomph, but it's pretty. Good luck with your future entries!

| Good shot. Good job with the sunlight/white balance. The top of the tulip is a hair bright (fried). Exellent color. Still the focus and composition is very nicely concieved. You could make this into a real nice print. |
