 Taken at location between Laughlin and Las Vegas, NV. Hundreds to thousands of people drive by this location every day and very few know of it existance that is just a few hundred yards off of the roadway. There are markers here dating back to the very early 1960's with this particuluar grave marker dated at 1962.

Brightness/Contrast
Channel Mixer to bring out colors and add some punch
Curves again
slight touch on levels to bring down hot spots

Used the "Painting with light" technique to lights the grave markers. Used a 1.5 million candlelight spotlight to quickly light markers and surroundnug area, held light under my red shirt for a bit to get the red color.

I love this picture, it was the only one I gave a 10 to. The colors, the darkness of the background and the subject matter are all superb choices. Nice, sharp focus. Great job, I wish it had scored much higher.

Very spooky.. I love it. The blue might be a little too blue for some, but I love the rich colors.

I would have preferred the subject off-center (but that is only my personal opinion - feel free to take it with a grain of salt). Otherwise the photo is nicely in focus with great colours. Great shot!

Good capture of the cross - some odd blurring happening on the left when it's not on the the right... The imagery is of death, meeting the challenge adequately. I think I would have preffered to see the arm of the cross bisected by the horizon, though, it would have given more impact to the picture. 4

nice colors and fitting of the theme. IMO I would have changed position and moved the subject more to the right off center.
