This is really nice. I would also crop a little differently to cut out some of the blackness..just a bit. I think it also seems like it needs the tiniest bit of counter-clockwise rotation. Very well seen and good idea for the challenge. It turned out nicely just the way it is. |

I love this shot and couldn't figure out why it didn't quite work and/or place higher. I think it may have had to do with the aspect ratio you chose to use. It seems to be close to a 4x5 (8x10) frame but not quite. I would suggest trying it either as a 5x7 or 4x6 and thus eliminating the slightly too overwhelming darkness of the "natural frame" of the buildings to what is a powerful and dramatic composition.
Otherwise, to my eye, a very lovely image! |

Striking composition. The looming canyon of the framing buildings creates an original & effective point of view of the subject. The fact that it is one of my favourite buildings makes me like it even more. |

Great use of selective focus! Also beautiful colors and good composition. Only thing I'd change is to reduce the width of the black surround by a bit, maybe one cm on each side - 8 |

Completely exquisite...wonderful lush color and velvety rich blacks...also very effective as an abstract...also, the black makes me think of this as an unfinished painting, or a painting that was finished and is being painted over with black, just a really nice simple composition...this is certainly on of my favorites |

This is an amazing shot. Great work. It has such nice DOF, colors, perspective, and of course, a great frame. One of my favorites in this challenge. |

NYC! Looks really cool, how did you get all the lights in the surrounding buldings to be off? |

I love what you have done here. I look forward to seeing whose this is. I would have cropped of a bit of the black on the bottom...perhaps..9 |

The silhouetted building âframeâ makes the lighted building and the colorful sky stand and out nicely. Good hot. |
