taken on saturday in a residential area...surprised to find a 5 acre farm amidst the sea of houses.

wow! that is some green grass, almost unnatural looking (not saying it's not natural, just saying it looks almost unnatural). I'm assuming there is wiring in the fence (between the posts) but I can't see it, though I'd like to. I like the contrast of this farm set in what looks like suburbia and assume this is what you mean by your title?

so many farmlands get subdivided. It's sad to see "house farms" where once there were fields. This picture would've been more effective from a higher point of view looking out over all the new houses.

Oh I really like this, I tried to get a good view like this one but no this one is perfect.
This is really symbolic of the way people tear down what is old and precious and rebuild new and less pretty things just to fill people's needs or wants.

if this shot would have been higher up so that you could get the grasp of the whole "we were here first" theme it would have been better but it is still a good concept and photo
