Of the dozens of photos of flowers posted in this competition, this one stands out as the best for me. Subtle and suprising colours. Perfectly exposed and sharp. Well chosen DoF, background, and composition. 10. |

Great capture and lovely colours waiting to show their best. With the light emphasising the drops from the left I think I would have preferred it cropped to the other side and the top of the background detracts a little - good luck |

In this apparent glut of flower shots, this is a little better - there should, surely, be something beyind the simply pretty to qualify for 'beauty', and this certainly makes statements about the progression, about the force, the puposefulness of the spring processes. These little earthquakes happen all around us, all the time, and it's one of the points of photography to concentrate on such things. very fine work. |
