 Placed a large amount of samolina (grain) on a plate and made spirals.
Adjusted levels, desaturated, crop and resize.

A lovely swirls which begs a dor a deeper dof, but you get full credit for concept and composition. Bump.

I think the photo would have looked even better if u had placed something in the middle possibly like a small flag.

Beautiful!!! I love the framing, the lighting is perfect, and I can't believe the wonder you have achieved with sand! This is NOT an ordinary "Oh look, some sand" shot! This is print-worthy.

Nice use of lines and shapes. I think the lines are enough to draw the eye no need for shallow dof.
