 Editing: Crop, shadow-highlights, levels, reduce green and yellow sat a bit, resize, usm, save for web.

This is my husband sitting against a tree with an apple with an arrow through it on his head. The title is in reference to the legend of William Tell who was forced to shoot an apple on his son's head by a nasty Swiss official in the 1300's. I just shoved this arrow thorugh the apple though - don't think my husband, Jack, would trust me to actually shoot it!!

for a cliche, you really did a good job of setting up the subject. The angle of the arrow and the cropped head work well.

would be much better if it wasn't a hunting arrow, but i like the idea.

Sorry, but I feel this is too cliched an idea. Besides that, there are clear distraction points in the green background, and althought the focus/dof is right on, I feel the lighting on the face isn't as effective as it could be.
