LOL!!! Not only do I get the joke despite my age, but it's a fab shot! The lighting's great, and I love the sharp focus on the water droplet. The focal point and the title really give this shot a suspenseful feeling.

Good composition and color, good use of DOF. Perhaps a different background would have made the apple pop more. Overall, a good shot. Good luck in the challenge.

the apple is a little blurred but I thinkg you were making sure the water spot was sharp and you succeded. I like the slightly blurred background with the light coming in but the apple being so soft I feel hurts the image.

I like this image a lot. It's softness is different than most pictures like this. A nice sharp drop of water and stem, adds just a touch of detail in the very shallow DOF image. Just a thought...I wonder if a slightly different colored background might have helped define the shape of the apple rather than blending with it, since the edges of the apple are blurred due to the DOF. <7>
