This is a really different point of view, and the exposure is bang on. My only gripe would be that it needs a bit of slective sharpening on the eye.. I know you're title is nostalgic, and one might thing that older photos didn't look tack sharp, but I htink it'd help the image quite a bit..
Still an interesting shot... 7 |

| Wow, can even see the pores in the skin. The out of focus parts do not work right for me. The rest is great. 9 |

| Nothing, particularly the eye is sharp enough. Composition feels unbalanced. Skin tone a little red. |

| i think the focus should be on the other eye, since that is kind of the primary focal point in the composition. nice crop. |
