excellent use of 'blue' in this shot.. the shallow depth of field creates a nice surrealistic and dreamy feel to this shot.. - setzler

Nice.

I'm all for a good DOF picture and this IS one - but by blurring the one in front of the flower as well, it blurs the stem of this one too much for my tastes....also, why not a bit of a closer crop to get rid of a bit of the green?

I like the texture of your photo.

Maybe the front blurry one is a little bit too much hiding the main one .Maybe a fdifferent 'framing' as left. left side is too empty. Nice picture

Moving the subject off center would improve composition and perhaps change the perspective so that the out-of-focus flower in the foreground is not obscurring your subject.

That is a real shallow DOF you've brought in here, the plant is very sharp. Except for the part at the right bottom which disturbs in a way. Cool blues and whites, good job.

Your choice of depth of field has created a very nice image.

I'd like to know how you did that!

the blur in the foreground is a bit distracting, but great colour. I personally would have cropped to make it a bit taller, and less wide.

I don't like the blurry stuff.

What is that obstruction in the foreground?
