| Nice warm colours and a courageous composition. But for my eyes there is too much total black background. The last quarter of the picture would have been enough. |

| Excellent light here - really strong sense of detail in those textures. There is a slight impression of having clipped colour channels, but to get that intensity must be a matter of compromise somewhere, I guess. Minimalism? I don't know ... it's a kind of straightforward approach to the challenge, really, and I'm finding that this trick of using a perfectly isolated subject only partially in frame to be lacking great impact. Your light and colour make up for a lot of that, however. |

| Excellent shot. Is this the flower's real color? My only criticism is that there are a few dents in the top two petals which I find a little bit distracting. |

OK... I'm impressed. You broke a rule of composition and jammed your subject way down in the corner like many other shots in this challenge, but the difference is in this one it works. I don't know if it's the fact that you left it in colo, or the very minimalistic border that you put around it that kinda pulls it out of the corner a bit, but it works. You got my vote of confidence!

| beautiful picture, thankfully you used a black background for a nice change! Unfortunatly, the subject takes up a third of the image, which just doesnt match the challenges requirements, so i can't give you the high score the image otherwise deserves. |
