Is this grid a part of something? I like the concept, but the hot spots are a bit distracting.

Unusual approach to the theme. Your title works very well to call attention to the one red drop.

I would have used type AB+ but you're the photographer, not me and you managed to turn out with a good piece

A photo really attains the standards of this competition. But the photo does not tell what it presents. For my eyes it is also too "put-on".

Oh my, this is definitely mimimalism that kind of shocks you at the same time. A bit to bright around the metal but still a good one.

Would've voted higher if you didn't place it on the edge.

Lovely artistic abstract. Only problem is that the blood looks thinner. :) Great work.

Nice lighting, contrast, and color. It only lacks in clarity.

Like the idea very much. Maybe the light is a bit overexposed in the background causing burnouts which can destract.

Wow. One of the many strong contenders. I give it a nice, as to me it seems a touch out of focus, would have liked to have the the droplets slightly sharper. Place this in the top ten.

I don't really know why this photograph is not as absolutely brilliant as it could have been. The idea is great, the drops are wonderfully shiny. Maybe the red drop is placed in a too "static" place - I think it's too close to the (vertical) middle. Wonderful photo all the same.

love it!

Nice idea. The blown out highlights concern me. I would have preferred to see the blood droplet completely framed - perhaps it was intentional to crop off the left wire - just a personal preference. Overall an solid entry for this challange in my view.

Wow,

I was like trying to figure out the title before I looked at the picture then BANG! Blood! Yeehaw!

Well you kept me in suspence until I scrolled down, but then again I'm high right now. (High on life)

Not sure how this will go over with others here. But I love it. I gave it an 8. Just a little to much glare on the top water for me. Still a great photo and idea.

Simple. If it weren't for the blown areas in the middle row, this would have gotten a 10 from me. But the originality and execution deserve at least a 9. So here it is.

many blowouts but nonetheless the image remains impressive with the red drop taking full attention. Bumping up.

Kinda gross but kinda cool - good idea. Good background. The flare off the metal is a little distracting though.

The concept is very clever - creating a pattern, in which the strong point of the image emerges -, but I'm not sure about its execution... I don´t think the drop of blood (??) is such a strong point, perhaps due to its framing and dimension... I feel you ended up with an image less interesting than it was supoosed to (and the reflection of the light is a bit distracting too). Anyway, 6 for originality and effort.

A very interesting composition and subject, marred by the massive white flares at the center that distract and hurt the eyes. The background color is nice.

i really like this concept....its great...the only thing i can comment on is that in my opinion the light flares in the row above the subject pull my attention away a bit....otherwise well done

Thank you, neat image, would have been a nine if red dot was moved over one grid to the right for my taste, just my taste. still great
