The harsh light really hurts this image. The background is rather unappealing as well. |

Not sure how minimalistic this shot is. 4 |

Not small enough to qualify as minimal. Otherwise whatever that is has a lot of potential to grab attention |

nice photo, but not "minimal" by the challenge description |

The subject of this photo takes up a large area of the shot, which is contrary to the guidelines of the challenge. I do like the texture of the photo, including the background. And I like the look of the old tool, I think it makes an interesting subject. |

very neat image but in my opinion the subject is quite large.5 |

I like the textures here but I don't think it is any kind of minimalism. |

IMO the tool takes up too much of the frame for this challenge. Also it lacks the WOW factor of a great photo. That is probably the hardest thing to capture in a photograph. Keep shooting, it will get better. |

Very large for minimalism. |

Minimalist in the classic sense, rather than the contest sense, but no points deducted for that. There is a harsh bright spot above the hook that is distracting, though. |

i don't like the background; doesn't suit the subject, which is too big to be mini. 2 |

Not convinced that this fits the challenge description. |

Not sure how to comment on this. It doesn't really grab me, it is minimal, but lacks any elegance I guess |

Very nice image with great details and color, but...the challenge says, Create an image where your subject is the strong point of the image, but only occupying a very small portion of the image space. I think you did "MACRO" I think in a Macro challenge I would have scored this about a nine. <5> |

IMO doesn't represent the challenge. perhaps if you took the image from further back in order to make object smaller |
