Wonderful study. Like any good photo, it makes me ask questions: why? what's wrong?, etc. Excellent use of lighting and shadow. Very nice. |

Nice use of negative space and selective desaturation. |

High impact photo, crisp, sharp, the added red detail give it that extra punch |

A very good concept. Personally I would have gone just a bit lower to give a better form to the prostrate head. 7 |

Great emotion - love the desat treatment. Bumping up. |

I'm not usually such a big fan of selective desaturation, but it really works with this image....perfect contrast and crispiness too! |

nice selective desat...only critique would be the shadow on the arms |

Funny photo. A bit too staged IMO for this challenge. Cool photo otherwise. |

Great job on the lighting & composition.
The selective desaturation didn't work on my first go around, but as I sit here and study this, it is growing on me. (7) |

The isolated color of the guitar works well in this. |

bumped to 9 - great image - like the B&W with the red. I can think of no way to improve this. Good luck! |

While it's not a great shot, I also can't think of anything to suggest to make it stronger. The selective desat of the image works... I wonder if you actually went against rules and put the subject dead center in the frame if that would be stronger... hrm |

Well done, and excellent use of color/B&W. Top 10 I am sure. |

I'm not sure about the selective desaturization here... it kind of puts the emphasis on the guitar rather than the man... I like the framing |

Great photo. I love the way everything is black and white except for the red guitar! Excellent job! |

Nice setup, lighting and composition. I don't think this needed the selective desat. |
