hey lee just looking at your newest photos, this one is great the lighting is bang on, It has the effect that its amost on fire or something similar I immediatly think of a hotshop or blacksmith. I like the gritty quality of this photo

this would be really cool in b/w or duotone

I love the warm/cool color contrast! Great lighting, nice textures. Beautiful.

The lighting is super on the grater and the tacks. The combination of the two together seems like a bit of a strain, but still, the light and contrast are so wonderful, who cares!

I thik this is a great idea with great potential and lighting but the final crop is very odd. I find the lopsided composition distracting.

Finally! Real tacks! ;) I think using the grater is a great idea for texture. I may use that in the future if you don't mind. Is that cheating? I think it might have been better the crop out a little more of the left side but pretty cool the way it is. Like the lighting. The focus is a touch soft. 8 for the originality and teaching me a new use for a grater. Thanks!

Nice shot but the wierd purple haze/loss of contrast that is dominant in the lower part of the image kindof ruins it for me personally, is this flare or what is going on? Anyway, trying to look past that this image would have potentially been a 7-8 from me due to the fact that I love the colour and contrast of the top half of the image but as it is now I can´t really give it anything but a 5.

there seems to be some sort of haze over the bottom right hand side.

this has a lot of potential, but the blue coming in from the lower right corner really annoys me and distracts from this photo
