I wear very thin shoulder pads, but just because I'm an old fart. These young guys haven't experienced the thrill of seperating shoulders yet. |

We were all sunburnt. It was the first full day of sunny weather, and we were a bit pasty to begin with. After three matches, everything was red. |

Yep, the Sir didn't call the first few high tackles and then it got out of hand. I went in for the 2nd half and ended up getting smacked in the face three times. |

A little bit of desaturation would lift this image even higher. A great action capture with outstanding detail. |

Great crisp capture. Expressions are priceless and the ball on the tips of the fingers is a great detail. |

lighting is a little off, maybe your sun was too harsh that day...but a good capture here |

Outstanding frozen action. facial expressions, position of the ball, are perfect. Lighting accentuates muscles of thigh, perfect. Should do very well. |

Composition is excellent here - great capture of facial expression. Tack-sharp focus on the focal point - good use of DOF. Good job! |

This is SUCH an amazing picture. The expressions on their faces, and the total stop in the action you were able to get without losing sharpness and focus. This is easy one of the best in the challenge! (and there are some GREAT ones, so that's saying a lot). |

Rugby shots seem to work well because they are always intense, colorful and have plenty of agonizing facial expressions to beef up the shot. This is one of those shots. Good luck with this well captured image! |
