 This is my mom's dog Tessa, who wasn't cooperative at all, this is one of the few I was able to get.

Adjusted levels, shadows/highlights adjustment, selected the eyes and adjusted the brightness and cloned out a reflection of a reflector, cloned out a couple small brown leaves in the grass, usm, crop, border, save for web.

Lens used: Canon 28-135 IS

I miss my Eskie. He's been gone for 7 1/2 years, but darn he was a nice dog.

This is a great shot that just brings out all that is an American Eskimo, always looking happy (or at least until they get old and decrepit).

Both my parents and brother's family own Eskies :). they are such photogenic dogs when they will cooperate :)

All I can say is WHAT A GORGEOUS DOG!! and you've captured her/his beauty perfectly in this photo... Having an all white cat myself, I know how difficult it is to photograph them... But the texutre of its hair and the eyes and smile just POP!!!! Great job!!!!!! Congrats on 10th place, if I had registered when this challenge was happening, I'd have given it a 10 with ears way up!!!! LOL

Can't do much better in portraying "white" than this. technically wonderful. Composition a bit blah, might be helped by backing off a tad and getting a bit more dog shape, I donno. Stron entry.

What a perfect face! I'd say purrfect, but I'd be off by a species. How about peruffffect? Either way, excellent shot. Lacking that pop zing wow, but I still give it a 9. Good luck in the challenge!

What a cute smile... :) I really like the way that you have cropped this shot. Like how the fur just fills up the entire bottom of the frame and then just a little green to show her off. Great focus and lighting. Hope you do well. (10)
