| I like the DOF you have used and the choice of white blocks at the back/top makes the ube fade nicely into the background. Contrary to some comments I'd say this was a good fit for the challenge - what a way to fill in those hours of boredom! My only gripe would be the reflection in the blue tile on the top row. |

| nice shot, mine is in my trash can with the stickers peeled off ;) i think that a slightly greater DOF would have worked better because the bottom row is quite soft on the sides.....8 |

Games, puzzles and the like are interesting to me. I recall a cousin of mine spending hours fascinated playing with his Rubix cube. So, for me, the subject is not a good fit for the challenge.
The photo itself has interest, however, The limited DOF, the play of colors, the subtle reflections work well. I think perhaps a square crop could add even more as there seems to be no good reason for the extra white space on either side. |

| You have a terrific shot here, but the image itself does not convey the boredom feeling or sensation. Therefore, I dont think it fits the challenge. |

| Lighting appears a bit "top down" - good shadows at the bottom, but the colours are maybe a little subdued on the sides. Good photo though, and a nice idea for the challenge. "Bored" (or maybe frustration) might have been better coveyed by a Rubik's cube with the labels picked off, but that would have been less aesthetically pleasing (and would have ruined your toy). |
