For this photo being with the bananas facing towards viewer, I think should have more macro or detail as to get closer ... Though there is a dof here, and the black background is ok with the light a little more tilt on them bananas would make a difference and we could see some more black specs ( the bruises in the fruit) ... It is a wonderfull shot for still life and I enjoyed studying it.. Check out some of my baby bananas I have sometime.. |

not sure if it is my monitor or yous, but I can see a lot of editing marks where you did some editing to remove some dust or unwanted artifacs in the image., mostly in the black areas |

Nicely taken, but it seems to me that for stock purposes your bananas should be perfect. |

Hi. My only concern on this photo is that there was some obvious PS work or something on the black background. |

Something not quite right with background. Bananna's don't seem to have enough impact? Photo looks flat. |

The top banana seems a little blown out. |

Onr of the best examples of the theme. A light background would've made this a sellable photo. |

I like the simple composition and the compelling color palette. I'm finding the cloning tool marks left by the clean-up around the bananas distracting (If you're using a Wintel monitor its possible the marks just to the left of the bananas blend invisibly into the background.) |

bananas are blown out on the top part mainly because of direct light onto them. the background has details which is not good.. i think you wanted to put a black background, but ended up with this.... selling this as a stock won't get you good results |

Nice idea...if the bananas hadn't been bruised up I would have scored higher 5 |

A soft light at the right side of the bananas could improve this shot and give more dimension to the fruit. |

harsh lighting...could use better focus too |

I would have chosen a lighter background and prettier bananas |
