Editing: select sky with wand, reduce highlights with shadow/highlight tool, levels on sky, invert selection, levels on cliff, deselect. Increase Saturation, contrast, noise removal, resize, reduce hue & sat by 100%, more levels, select sky, gausian blur on sky, invert selection, unsharp mask, deselect, contrast, do some burning and dodging on cliff faces, save for web.

This rocky cliff is near Del Norte, Colorado. I've used it in two other pictures for the challenge. I like it.

The lack of definition in the sky really makes the rock formation stand out. Very nice. I like the detail that was gotten in the shadows on the formation also. Very well done. 7

Capture of great rock formation. I can see lots of things in there. Good contrast, but an very unfortunate sky. Not much you can do however (?) What is lacking here to make it an "Ansel" photo, is an interesting foreground. I don`t know what is in front of you, but you seem to be standing there, taking the picture. What about lying down to give some foreground. This might just make this an oustanding photograph. Also work on you focus
