As European this would have been lost on me without the title.
Having just completed my own, I know the feeling well.
Good idea, and composition, but the image is not strong enough without the title for this to score very well. |

I was thinking of doing something like this...
Good use of shallow DOF.
Might have worked better with slightly more varied lighting to heighten dramatic feeling. |

Without the title I wouldn't have a clue what this is (one of the hazards of an international site I guess). |

Yes that is painful and it is true that everything seems to suddenly get all blurry.
