 I took a stroll through the woods with a friend today. We recently recieved a good amount of snow, 1 to 2 feet depending on where you're standing. I was looking for shots for lighting, and during the winter, it's perfect, because the sun is low, and with the low angle, the shadows are long.

Stunning image and right up there with a chance to medal in my books. The choice of B&W is spot on. The only thing I can see that could be improved on are a couple of blured spots, was that something on the lens at the time? I hope this does well for you.

wow, what an angle. - wide angle lens, perhaps? the sense of perspective is lovely.
sun dominates the picture a bit too much for my tastes, but i'm still giving it an 8 :)

I love this shot. Its initial impact is breathtaking. Great job of evoking a soft, smokey feeling of peacefulness. I know those look like storm clouds, but it still gives me a sense of peace and hope. The use of the line in the shadows to draw your viewer's eye is masterful. Brilliant - 10
