| what a nice composition. i'll bet you had fun shooting here, with all the opportunities this vista provides. those boats are excellent subjects. i hope you aren't getting overlooked in this huge challenge, and that you are getting some good feedback. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come! |

| This has a very 1960's feel to it for some reason - I like this quite a bit. Simple yet effective. |

| I like the composition, however find the border takes away from the photo for me. Focus seems a little off as well. Good Luck. |

| Good simplistic concept and the color of the boats works nicely against the bland colors of the rest of the image. Softer contrast might make this look a little less oversharpened. |

| Nice image, but too harsh on the contrast. I think this would have made an excellent black and white image. |

| Inviting! I love the near-abstraction of your image! The sharpening on the water makes it seem as if it's still in motion--the beach allows the eye to rest for a moment, though before it's pulled back in. A very nice best-of-year indeed! |

| Very nice picture, simple composition, good color contrast. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop at the bottom would make it even better (9) |
