 taken in march, during the same shoot with christie and alan as my *whisper* and *viva italia* shots. just a random moment caught during the shoot-there were only a couple of these out of a couple hundred pics, and i completely overlooked them until went back thru the disc a few days ago. i'm not sure it is the type of shot to do very well here, but i really love the moody emotion and energy of it, so in it goes. :)

did a couple of layer masks to darken background, and add blur to skin, crop, curves, levels and D&B.

Wow, this photo is amazing, it's so sensual and beautiful and the soft shadows look great. This really struck me and got my attention because there is such meaning behind it. Great work!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this didn't place higher...DPC seems to be afraid to vote highly on images with sexual or provocative themes unless they're covered in latex. ;o) Regardless, this was one of my 9's and I thought (and still do) it was beautiful. Such an emotionally charged moment. Well done! :o)

Highly sensuous image. Excellent use of shadow to give a less explicit and more dreamy ambience to the image. The man's face feels much too tightly cropped into the corner of the frame - would prefer more space below. 8

What makes this work, in my opinion, is that due to the spectacular lighting, neither of the couple dominate the scene. The duet is presented in perfect harmony. The soft focus is quite flattering as well. Nitpicks? Nah, none from me. :-) 10

Love the softness of this. Not just from a technical perspective, but the softness of it. intimate. personal. something like that. perfectly lit and composed. Outstanding PS treatment as well; beautifully layered. Must be a pretty passionate eye behind that camera to create a moment like this.
