 Since I didn't start "photography" until the last couple weeks of 2004, I didn't really have much to work with! This is the best shot that wasn't already entered in a challenge!

I actually took this before I owned a tri-pod. I took it with a 1/15 shutter speed by hand... still can't figure out how it came out so good.

Though it is a very precious personal picture, it does fall a bit short on clarity/sharpness and with the main subject being dead center, kinda' hurts the photographic composition aspect. ((5))

how sweet is this. and years from now, after the cat knocks it off the tree, you'll still have this image to remind you of it! well, at least that's the story around here. nice image. i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge, and that you are getting some good feedback. thanks for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come!

Well I don't think you'll do very well in this challenge unfortunately, but congratulations on having a new addition to the family in time for christmas.

Cute image and congratulations Delaney. Image is slightly out of focus. Good choice on matching the border to the banner (some others of course will probably not like it). Good Luck.

Look on the bright side ... no-one can say it "doesn't fit the challenge". However, I'm afraid the fact that it no doubt has great meaning for you isn't enough to make it a great photograph. To my eye, it's flat and, alas, not very interesting. I bet it wasn't REALLY your best shot of 2004. In which case it doesn't fit the challenge after all. Best wishes to Delaney for many more. 3.
