this the main subject is in perfect siluette, the poo in the backgound is eyecatching. :) just thought you'd want to know. I'm sure you got that in your other comments :) |

Beautiful composition & detail, with good control of the lighting!
Well seen and I'm sure was worthy of the wait for the "right" moment ((8)) |

This is what I believe is the epitome of a silhoutette. This is such a beautiful piece and I like it more and more every time that I see it. I think that this might make my favs once it starts to grow on me. |

Nice silhouette, a little cliched but I still think this works well, my only suggestion would be a slightly shallower dof to separate the horse and rider from the background a bit better. 7. |

It is so good at first I thought it was a statue. Perfect pose and outstanding silhouette. |

excellent composition, would be a strong image if the focus was just a tad sharper. all the same, i don't think this is something you'd see every day, so i'll just say, good job, and good luck with the challenge! 7 from me. |

Try as I might, I can only find one tiny thing to wish were different. It would be perfect if the horse were standing on something other than concrete. A minor minor minor thing, and aside from that, it is THE definitive photo of a horse and rider. 9 |

Wonderful use of available light has created an awesome picture.
I see pixelization around the edges of the figure, did this image have to be enlarged a lot? |

Nice use of backlighting. I like how the horse and cowboy are holding their heads in a similar way. Is it raining in the bg? I like the painting-like look. |

Very nice feel. Love the light edge along the neck of the horse and the diaphonus tail. |
