Beautiful arches and coloring. Excellent dof and composition. Having a person in it brings it to life, and shows scaled. Very good!
One of my top three this week. Good luck! |

Beautiful lighting and good use of leading lines. Seems slightly posed, although I don't know if it is or not. (8) |

Overall I like this picture. it definitely meets the challenge, nice use of lines and light to draw the viewers eye into the subject. to make it a winner, you probably need a better model...i don't know what it is about her, but she's not convincing in this role and she needs a fashion consultant. |

Image with a good impact on the viewer. The subject is clearly the reading girl, both subject placing and the leading lines makes the image work in that respect.
Leading lines are the balustrade and the arch/pillar in the upper right section.
Lighting and exposure is great and the yellow shirt makes the subject stand out from the classic surroundings. The dark left side works well, it enhances the other composition techniques to keep the eye in the right side of the frame.
Good job, one of my favourites.
O yeah, I remember something else. Het activity has a leading line as well and that is the line between her eyes and the book. It communicates that she is fully occupied by her book, perhaps didn't even notice the photographer. When she would have looked up the magic moment would have gone and the photo wouldn't have worked as well as it has now. |

Very interesting perspective and interpretation of the theme. Excellent shot. The picture has a very warm and quiet feeling to it. The young lady's yellow shirt really helps your leading lines draw the viewer to the subject. Even the chandelier seems to point to her. This is my favorite shot of the week. Great job! |

Very clear and focused and meets the challenge well. The line is leading right to the girl. If you had stood a little more to the left you could have had a bonus line coming from above using the lamp. 8 |

For me, the person in the photo detracts from the leading lines of this image. I do like the curves and lighting here but might compose the picture a little differently, i.e., take one step to the left and shoot with a little less floor and more ceiling. |

I love the architecture, the lighting, and this shot in general, except for the person in the shot. It would have been a much more effective shot for me if it was just the gorgeous lines of the architecture. |

OK this picture is GREAT!!! The white is pure and brilliant and so are the red/yellow on the girl. The lines of the arches and lines of the floor/railing lead right to the subject. EXCELLENT = 10 (so far). Great job! |

Crisp focus, beautiful colors, and attention from lines to the subject. I like the yellow to highlight the subject. Just the right exposure. This is very well done! This is a very good shot for the challenge! Good luck. -Clicker- |
