Critique Club Review
Overall a very good picture.
Very good lighting. You made great use of the angle of the sun here. No flat, boring, high-noon lighting here. Color rendition, over all exposure, and contrast are all very good. About the only point I see to mention here, is that the rows you selected lead right between the buildings into a black void. The eye follows the rows, and then has to search for a point of interest. Since the buildings are relatively small in this picture, it would help to be pointed to the object you want us to see, a little more directly. Still, this is a very good photo, and you should be proud of it. |

When you only have 640 pixels to use, why use so many on a border? Interesting leading lines, but I can't really tell what they are leading to. (4) |

The lines really draw the eyes up and to the farm. Nice colors and details, as well. |

this one almost scares me. Having been up and down those innumerable times. nice composition. hard to tell where the focus is. seems a bit soft all the way through. 7 |

Very nice, looks like my town :). The horizon is a tad tilted. Great frame choice. |

Nice shot. I love the colors and the time of day you chose. I would like the subject to be more visible though. I love the framing. Good luck. |

This is a very interesting picture. I am fascinated by the fact that even though your middle row is centered at the bottom of the picture it flows to the right so that more of the field show up on the left side of the picture. It makes it more interesting. One of my top 3 picks this week. Good job |

Lovely photo maybe contrast is too harsh on left side! |

I hate borders this big. Should use just a white border that's HALF the current size or even less. |

I almost did this same (simular) shot. You did it well.
Good work. |

Some may argue that the image is a bit of a cliche, but I really love this shot. The eye really knows where it is going and after the eye is led into the photograph there is a lot of stuff to keep it interested; the buildings and then the hills in the background. I also liked the very straight horizontal line of the edge of the field which was placed in a good compositional position. I also liked the contrast between the deep green of the field and the light blue sky. Very nice photograph. |

Excellent challenge photo. Good DOF. Heavy black border is somewhat distracting. |

the border is too strong, it competes with the image |

This is a good example of lines, but the don't really lead to a strong subject. The objects in the distance are a little too far away to represent a strong subject for the lines to 'lead' to... - setzler |

Excellent colour and perspective. You certainly can see where these lines lead to. Clarity and technical aspects are just perfect. Excellent capture. |
