CRITIQUE CLUB
Challenge: It meets the challenge with the lines, but the flower seems to "stop" the lines in the center. By placing it in the upper right hand corner, the effect would have looked amazing.
Technique: I love your angle on this shot, and I love the colors you used. Your settings look great, and using the morning light added a "dreamy" effect to the image while still keeping it sharp. Towards the end of the lines, there is a little "bump" that's a distraction - it could have simply been covered up with the flower.
Overall: A great shot that would have done much better simply by changing the focal point. I have to admit that I love your eye for this and the angle is perfect. |

| I think I'd have put the flower all the way in the upper-right corner, bleeding off the edge, and maybe none of the stem. I think the contrast of the sharp crystal and the soft petals needs no distraction from the greenery. I like everything else; exposure, detail, etc. |

| I like the shot, it seems like it may have worked even better if the flower were further into the top right corner. And the stem leading out of the photo. Good job. |

| Very nice detail captured here. I would like to see the flower a little farther up the lines towards the corner. I can look at the frost patterns and then be led to tohe flower which I feel is the lesser of the subjects |

| i like the contrast of subject matter in this image but the lines continue through the flower ... if the flower was in the corner of the image and the lines stopped there i think it would be a stronger leading lines photo |

| The lines are very good. It's hard to tell it's frost. Perhaps a closer shot. |

Sweeeeet. The lines really draw my attention to the flower. Lighting is very nice also. THe frost give an interesting background. 9.

| The frost lines take me to and away from your focal point. Don't know if this could have been corrected. Like the shot of color against the neutral ground. |
