I think you did an excellent job showing all the mechanical parts of the machine. The so called table on the left is actually the lid for the machine. The sewing part actually folds down into the table and the lid folds over and covers the recessed machine. It actually converts into a table stand. I think a lot of younger ppl do not recognize old phonographs, sewing machines, and some of the other kitchen utensils in this challenge. I am still amazed that an electrical operated sewing machine finished ahead of yours. |

My only complaint - I miss the left side of the table and the bottom. Still this is a fine portrait of an old mechanical object. |

Certainly meets the requirements, but this setup does nothing for the picture...reminds me of a shot you'd see on ebay or The Antique Road Show. Maybe if you'd crop down to just its fly wheel or something like that it would give more punch. |

nice find, but the sharp background degrades the photo a lot |

the missing corner adds a sort of action, but still it feels like lacking... and also the bacground (and the angle? - not sure) is a drawback, while the color and polished wood are good |

the sewing machine is great but unfortunately I find the background (quilt?) distracts from the main image |

Why, oh why did you crop of the left side ??
The background is not very appeling.

Brings back memories...my mother had an identically designed sewing machine made by Singer". |

The different patchwork in the blanket behind is somewhat distracting to the nice piece you have there... Perhaps it would have worked better with a more vintage-feeling backround? |

Excellent photo, just maybe move the angle and crop to include the table or focus in on just the sewing machine. |
