 Just a dead mouse lit with a torch and a desk lamp I thought of just shooting the shadow but I could get the noose to show up enough

Without the title, i wouldn't get this image. Nonetheless, with the title, this image is very funny. The lighting really brings out the detail and lynch not is nicely lit as well. But i don't think this really fit's the challenge. eh, i like it anyway. (7)

Without the title, this could just be a commercial photo for microsoft. Great focus, backgroound and shadow, I gave a four cuz I don't really see the despair. Otherwise good photo

good lighting, I actually like the flare. The kink in the shadow of the mouse lead is a bit distracting though. A bit more shape to the 'cell' would have been good.

I really like this photo on its own, although I think it may not quite achieve what the challenge's parameters intended. It would make a very funny spot in the Onion, though.
