Odd as it may seem to anyone outside of Atlanta, not a day goes by without someone referencing how to get from one place to another based on their location to the "Big Chicken". The history is actually pretty interesting: //roadsidegeorgia.com/site/bigchicken.html.

This was taken on a beautiful cloudless morning (rare these days). Cropped and applied little PS levels. Only other work was cloning to remove some bothersome telephone lines along the back of the building.

Red is a bit harsh. Tone it back some?

I live only 100 miles for Atlanta and did not even know this KFC even existed. Nice colors, good focus, and a beautiful blue sky for the red chicken to blend with. I think this shot is an average shot but think it would of scored higher from a different perspective. As I look at your picture it seems that its going to flip over on its beak. Maybe [if you could have] standing more to the left would of given your picture dimension. As it sits the room slants downward to the left as the chicken slants to the right as it goes up. I know thats the lens [everyone has to deal with that] but moving to the left i think would of helped. [5]

Technically fine - focus, exposure and the like. Subject and your approach to it: well, i think it could have been handled with more impact - you seem, to me, simply to have included all of the building, and as little else as possible without cutting off the cars; and that tells me nothing about this place other than exactly what it looks like - and I want to know where it's set, what landscape it's part of, how it relates to it's environment.

Thhis must be one heck of a popular place. Your shot is the best of them so far. . . although it is sliding to the left slightly. BOL 6

Ah another angle of this famous landmark. Technically without faults. Artistically framed very well and with excellent color rendition.

This is really a perfect shot of the Big Chicken, very crisp and clear and unincumbered by all the utility wires hanging around the place. I also shot the Big Chicken....had to clone out all of the other photographers. There seems to be enough interest for a separate Big Chicken challenge.
