I like the way all the main lines converge on the top right corner. Good detail on the rusted barbs too. Background weeds are a tiny bit distracting, but bluring them out too much may loose the furthest barbs too.

Must be my eyes - I'm only seeing six
update: you must be a democrat - asking for a recount ;-)
I struggled, but managed to count seven. Bumped the score up a notch. :-)

Nice composition, but you should use the full size allowed. Perhaps a bit oversharpened as well

Is it me, or can you see eight barbs in this photo?

Well done. Bigger would earn an additional point from me.

Nice focus on the barbed wire. I love a good rust shot and this rust is really very colourful. I can only just count seven barbs though !

Nice leading lines, even if they don't really point us at anything. But as the subject Is the barbs in this case, I guess that's ok. The flash (or natural light, can't really tell) washed out the log on the right pretty badly, that's a bit distracting.

That last one kind of blend into the background, not knowing that I am suposed to be looking for 7 of them, I may not even notice it at all. The lighting on that post to the right of the photo is harsh, making that post stand out quite a bit. I think that the DOF is good, and focus is right where it should be. the horizontal post running through the center of the photo is distracting. I think that the color of the barbs is cool, and looks good against the color of the background. interesting take on the challenge, wish we could see that last barb better. ~Heather~

Nice, I like the depth of field. Possibly could be cropped a little better on the left?

Lovely composition, really like the idea. This blue thing (net?) in the right corner distracts a bit...

Love the composition and the repetition of pattern created with the wood

Hi, returning for some comments. Indeed there are seven barbs. I think this entry would have more impact if it was larger. Sharp focus, and the colors are kind of muted which goes well with this particular subject.
