Best photo I've ever taken? LOL, no. It is one that I can appreciate so thought I'd share it. This pair of doves had a nest earlier in the patio area of our home. Now they've taken up residence over our garage door. Rarely are they rattled and fly off - they generally tolerate us within 10 feet or so. However, it's rare to see both of them in the nest at the same time. I was pulling my vehicle up the driveway when I noticed this and was afraid the scene wouldn't last long so I grabbed the P&S I keep in the truck and took a few frames.
Busy year for the birds. We also have a pair of cardinals that have built a nest and have young ones currently in the bush next to the other garage door. They get startled and fly off quite easily. We also have a carolina wren with a nest in one of the hanging pots in the patio area.

Jeepers! Also have a nest over the light on our storage shed with little ones. They just left the nest yesterday (Saturday, June 6th).
