Cute! I wasn't sure at the time of the voting if it was a schnauzer. Our standard schnauzer had the tube on just a few weeks ago also because of the surgery.

This is very cute. I am partial to pooches and this guy just looks miserable (which goes well with this particular challenge).
Technical: Focus, DOF, and exposure is good. Image could have been sharpened a hair.
Artistic: The angle and the crop is good. The red background is too dominant. Takes the focus away from the subject.
Overall: I think this fits the theme well and is overall a good entry. Bumping up. |

| Great angle, nice job by revealing a hint of that bandaged foot. Those collars, although essential to healing, seem horrific to me. What those poor dogs must think when one of them is slapped on. Nice job with a photo that nails the challenge. |

| Great idea and I love the composition. However, I don't think the colors work very well. Also, the background (the floor), is very distracting, like some parts were wet, or something. Maybe if you adjusted some settings in Photoshop (levels or curves), you could solve that problem. |
