Very nice photo. I somehow missed this one during voting. I also used a Kansas lyric for one of my entries in another challenge. But it was a more obscure song, and I'm pretty sure no one caught it. Congratulations on your first ribbon!

| One of the few images that really captures the challenge theme. I like the subject, colors, levels, contrast, focus, DOF ... so in that sense it's virtually flawless. It's a little dark for my taste. But still among my top picks. |

| I love this picture. The lighting is great on the hourglass, the bottom is a little to shiney and the positiong seems a little off when you view it from the thumbnail, but with that said I still like it a lot and feel it meets the challeng 100%. Bumping to an 8 |

| Simple classic approach is nice. I think I would have liked a bit more light and sharp focus rather than the shadowy emotive approach for this particular object, but a good shot and good interpretation. |
