a little flat and a little blown out. adusting levels could help it pop more. maybe cropping a little tighter might help as well.

This I don't like

The image looks very washed out. The side of the face looks overexposed, it has fairly low contrast, and could really do with a levels/curves/contrast adjustment.

The detail is really fantastic, needs more contrast though, good work.

Good details. Maybe underexposing a little more would make it feel a little less washed out.

Nice detail, but this is a bit washed out because of the lighting or post-processing.

The overexposure just washes out too much detail - not enough contrast.

It might be a good idea to try to photograph something more original for the next DPC challenge. Keep trying!

Good image but spoilt by being to overblown, more contrast and less brightness would change this. good luck

very flat lighting. Needs serious levels and contrast work.

This image seems to be too bright, maybe your monitor is not adjusted.

I think that this is too lighted. I would have like the "hair" to be more black than light grey

This show seems to be a little too bit blown out for me. It is a good macro nonetheless and is obviously something you could always retake using trial and error.
