This feels like a yearbook photo. Take more of a risk with her. |

The soft focus just makes it seem out of focus :( |

Maybe you are going for a soft look, but I'd like a sharper focus. |

You have some nice lighting on the face and the catchlights look good in her eyes, but the image is too fuzzy. I'm not sure if this was camera movement or an attempt at soft focus, but I think it takes away from an otherwise good photo. |

Appears to be out of focus (maybe that's intentional?) |

Nice subject and pose. She certainly is lovely :)
Portraiture work is generally accepted as best when the eyes of the subject are in clear(est) focus. I tend to agree. Your photo would also be improved, in my opinion, with the contrast level reduced to enhance the shade gradient across the forehead etc. Otherise, good crop and framing. Well done. 3. |

wayyyy out of focus. In portraits, especially close up portraits like this one, the eyes HAVE to be in focus and sharp. |

Focus is just a bit too soft, imo. |

focus needs to be sharper I'm afraid - try focussing on the eyes - the most important part of any portrait. |

I never have liked soft focus shots. |

This seems OOF to me. Also there is something just over her right shoulder in the photo that distracts. |

focus seems a bit off to me |

I gave it a better vote thatn it deserves due to the poor quality, but I do like the title, and she looks so real. |
