A beautiful image with softness and wisp of gentle feelings. More impressionistic to the senses rather than the eyes, but great in its own right. Very good work and bumping up om sheer beauty. |

| The one focused blade took all the impression out of this for me. I like the subject very much and was only disappointed by the bold statement in the foreground that clarified the rest of the work instead of mystifying it. |

| Your soft muted colors add to the effect of impressionism, but the subject has little emotional impact for me. The strong white area at the top draws way too much attention. |

This was a very difficult challenge to vote on. Impressionism is so subjective!
This is a lovely image, well composed and very nicely post processed. However I can not personally detect the "impressionism" intended. In a free challenge I'd have rated this an 8. Hopefully others will catch your drift more easily than I. Good luck! |

| I think that I would have cropped the sky out. The dof is good creating an impressionistic "canvas". |

| To get just an impression I'd prefer not to see the main subject in such sharp focus- the background gives an excellent impression on it's own. Nice muted colors. |

| Not sure the white sky complements this shot. However, the subject matter is good for an impressionist challenge but the picture misses that wow factor IMO. 4 |

| Dang! You beat me to it. I spent a morning the other day snapping shots of this same grass species. Well, yours is better, but I may still have something in the files to match. This is superbly done. The single inflorescence in focus is well positioned, and well backlit. Super use of depth of field. Nice work. 8 |
