Jo Ann, You are good. I love this shot. It is so clear and I like how I can see the reflection of the flowers and not the vase. Great shot and darn we didn't get a ribbon. Maybe this challenge. ;-) |

Great picture. This would look good without the flowers too. |

This is one of my favorites this week. Good coloring and composition. The flowers reflection really adds to this. Good luck. |

this is done very well. lovely lighting, reflection of the flowers, nice how it stands out against the black. I don't understand the use of the huge vase with the small blooms though. maybe that was your intent. (shrug). |

Very nice! I love the dramatic lighting and the mirrored image at the bottom. Very nice placement of the subjects. Good job of lighting and metering, giving just the right exposure for the highlights without sacrificing the darker details. |

Great still life shot. I especially like the soft light, the reflections from the surface and it's stillness. I think the vase is a little too big compared to the flowers: I was looking back and forth between the flowers and the vase to see what is more important to the picture. Still, a great image and it will probably do well. good luck. |

An elegant well composed photo. The white petal exposure and color are perfect. The border is well done. I like the reflected flowers and the feeling of a suspended in mid air vase. The gentle lightingon the vase is flattering to the delicate tones. Good job. |

Too much pot, not enough primsrose for me. The reflection of the flowers at the bottom is lovely, and think a closer view of these would have made a better shot. The black background works great! |

Very nice. The reflection is so well controlled and the choice of black and white with the splash of yellow is intriguing! |

Where does one start? The black background is simple and creates and elegant image of the vase and flowers as does the mirrored table top? The double image of the primrose in front is nicely photographed, although you leave a little image of something not quite cropped off at the bottom. To actually capture the Stem of the flowers through the vase is an achievement of your lighting, and it is very professional. Your composition in being slightly off left centre is great, and your color and focus are right on. . . Your white and black framing is also creative! |

Very clean, with crisp edge on the vase. Centering a bit more would improve the shot IMO. 8 |
