 Well, this is it...my first entry. Actually, I really can't be positive how it looks...my monitor is starting to get a bit old and fuzzy. Anyway...this is my nephew, Tyler, and he's suddenly developed a fascination for photography. Of course, I'm ever encouraging!

Congrats on your first entry, but don't get discouraged. It takes a while to get used to the way people vote and critique around here.

I agree with some of the comments about the background being a bit too busy. I think getting rid of that flower and cart would have been better.

Good exposure and focus. You did pretty good for your first time.

An aspiring DPChallenger! Me thinks you've captured a truely cliche`d photograph here. A lot of color to look at here but my eye keep coming back to that big camera that the little guy is holding in front of his face. It's an excellent photograph with an extremely great mood that you've created. Great lighting, Great color. Nicely focused. Nicely framed.

The flowers clutter the image a bit. Would have been nice to see more of the child's face.
