It's too bad the sunflower is in such bad shape. I would have liked to see a nice healthy and bright sunflower. |

Rather withered and dying flower, don't you think? But you've captured the brown and grey spots as well as the yellow - a new swing on a cliche. Not crazy about the road in the background - would have liked to see all greenery. |

Not a very high quality blossom. I would've chosen a different subject. The lighting is not very good, there's too much background stuff. The photo quality is pretty good, but its hard to give good ratings strictly based on that. sorry! - Inspzil |

Black eyed Susan.....Very nice photo. Looks like this flower has been in bloom for four or five days. Very good shot of the flower, but the background isn't as nice. Even though blurred out, I would like to have seen flower leaves and/or more flowers as background, rather than the street. Overall very nice. Wrong title!

The damage to the flower petals is distracting and I would try to select a better angle in order to avoid background clutter. |

The colors seem to be a bit flat, maybe if it was brighter and saturated more. Also the cropping seems awkward. The background in the top 3rd of the image seems to be a paved area, also takes away from the image. I hope these comments help you improve your future photographs. |

i'm biased: i like things depicted in a state of decay, tastefully, beautifully, movingly. what a coincidence that this pushes all of those buttons for me! |

It seems to me like the flower is larger than the photo, as if you missed part of it when photographing it. Sometimes that is a nice effect, but it doesn't seem so in this instance. |
