Hello from the critique club
An interesting image that meets the challenge fully
Regardless of the opinion of one of your commenters this still remains a classic image for good reason. Technically it is up to your normal high standards though I do agree with Neat, the greens, reds and bright yellow are very dominant in a near mono cityscape. Your title reflects the current heightened tensions of the continuing terrorist threat that France in particular is enduring. A very worthy score and result for a very worthy image, well done Janine. |

| The only thing I would have done differently, and mind you this is just my thoughts, I would have muted the greenery. The blue color is magical with the brown gargoyle sitting there overlooking the city. 10 |

| I think this has been photographed at least a hundred thousand times in the last 10 years, surely there was something more interesting to photograph from above within 10 meters of there. I'm not being nasty but if you want to make a lasting good photo you have to think for yourself, go with the mistakes and find your own vision. |
